ALCON Co., Ltd.(the "Company") processes the personal information it collects when receiving inquiries as follows.
1. Information We Collect
The following items are entered directly by you through the inquiry form.

The following items are recorded automatically when your inquiry is submitted.

The Company does not store your IP address, access logs, or cookies for the purpose of processing inquiries.
2. Purposes of Use
- Responding to and consulting on inquiries received
- If you have consented to receive product news, sending product news and updates
Your information is not used for any purpose other than those described in this policy. Consent to receive product news is separate from the handling of your inquiry, and declining it does not disadvantage the handling of your inquiry in any way.
3. Basis for Processing
Responding to an inquiry is processing carried out to provide the consultation you requested. The Company informs you of how your information will be processed and accepts your inquiry after receiving your confirmation of that notice.
Sending product news is based on separate, optional consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Retention Period and Destruction

Once the period has passed, the information is automatically deleted without delay; it is destroyed even without a separate request.
However, where retention is required by law, or where preservation is necessary due to a dispute, investigation, or similar matter, the relevant inquiry is retained until that reason ends, and is destroyed without delay once the reason has been resolved.
Even after destruction in the production system, a copy may remain in disaster-recovery backups for up to 14 days, after which it is deleted together with the backup. If a backup is restored, any items due for destruction are destroyed again immediately after the restoration.
5. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide personal information collected through inquiries to third parties.
6. Entrustment of Processing
The Company uses the following service to send and receive inquiry notification emails.

The scope of the entrusted task is limited to email delivery, and notification emails contain only minimal information so that the full content of an inquiry is not replicated in email.
